Canadian rugby player banned

The former Canadian under-20 international, Jeff McKinnon, has been banned from rugby worldwide for two years for doping.
McKinnon tested positive for testosterone and boldenone — both classified as anabolic steroids — while playing for the B.C. Bears in the Canadian Rugby Championship in August.

Probe provides light on school doping

Some of the culprits supplying steroids to schoolboy rugby players have been identified, according to the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport.
Four boys tested positive for drugs at the prestigious Craven Week Tournament, according to the institute’s Chief Executive Officer Khalid Galant.
