According to Idaho State University Director of Pharmacy, Dr. Robin Dodson, anybody who takes steroids must be warned that these online products are not FDA approved and may pose risks to our health.
An ordinary person can now easily obtain steroids anytime through the Internet. Today’s Channel 6 found that the Internet is the easiest way to buy anabolic steroids. The network found a site claiming to sell “legal” anabolic steroids. Some websites even provide an online manual on how to take steroids properly, the possible side effects of using steroids, and the length it stays in the blood stream. The manual was 87 pages long; however, it does not indicate whether the substance is US FDA approved.
The FDA contacted the network to ask questions regarding the company since according to them; they do not have any records of the company. This could only mean that the company was not able to pass a sample of their product for testing. The network revealed that the company name is SA Labs International.
Today’s Channel 6 also found another website selling steroids, this time, it provides instruction as to how to inject them properly.
From KIVITV:
We wanted to know how a website could get away with marketing steroids as legal. Idaho State University Director of Pharmacy Dr. Robin Dodson says these website try to get around the FDA by changing some of the compounds in their products and renaming them, which can be even more dangerous.
