Mass seizure after search of Carneys Point homeA man was recently arrested after police gained entry into his residence and discovered various amounts of illegal and prescription drugs, as per officials from the Woodstown Barracks of the New Jersey State.

A narcotic investigation was launched by the police in early February and a search warrant was obtained for the residence of David Boucher, 23, of Forest Lane, according to Trooper Jason Bobo.

From NJ.com:

Police entered Boucher’s residence without incident Thursday and seized approximately 8.5 ounces of high-grade marijuana, valued at roughly $4,250, as well as anabolic steroids, marijuana smoking pipes, and various amounts of prescription drugs, said Bobo.

He added that an additional $2,000 in cash was also seized from Boucher.

Boucher was arrested at the scene and interviewed at the Woodstown State Police Station, Bobo said.

According to police, Boucher was charged with narcotic and related offenses, including narcotics possession and distribution, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription legend drugs, and possession of steroids.

The NJSP TEAMS Unit, NJSP Canine Unit, Woodstown Criminal Information Office, Salem County Prosecutor’s Office, Carneys Point Police Department, NJSP Troop A Intelligence Office, and Woodstown state police personnel assisted in the arrest.
