Howard Johnson, a high-profile trainer of jumps racehorses, has been charged with doping and horse welfare offences by the British Horseracing Authority.
The trainer has been a leading name at the Cheltenham Festival in 2005 and has been charged three separate offences of administering the banned anabolic steroid nandrolone to his horses.
